KARACHI: Afridi backs Pakistani pacer Amir's confession which he made in the London court that he was involved in spot fixing.

“I think he has done the right thing and brave thing. I think he should have done this earlier. But even if late it is good he has realised his mistake. I hope Salman Butt and Mohammad Asif also stop being in a state of denial and admit the truth because presently their denial is not helping them in anyway,” said Afridi.

England Crunched India in ODI Series by 3-0

World champions India dropped to the fifth position in the ICC ODI Championship table after England won the five-match ODI series 3-0 on Friday. It is Mahendra Singh Dhoni's side's lowest ranking since October 2008, when it spent three months at the number-five position, to sum up a dissappointingsummer in England where it dropped from number-one position in the ICC Test Championship to third spot after losing all the four Tests.

India had entered the series in third position on 117 ratings points and finished on 112 ratings points after it lost the second, third and fifth ODIs while the first ODI at Chester-le-Street was washed out and the fourth at Lord's ended in a tie.

India had slipped to fourth position after the third ODI at The Oval where it went down by three wickets (according to Duckworth-Lewis method) and then slipped further behind after defeat in another rain-reduced match in Cardiff.

England has gained a place and has moved to fourth position. For remaining unbeaten in the series, Alastair Cook's side earned six ratings points which has left it just one point ahead of India and three behind third-ranked South Africa.

However, India will have a chance to not only reclaim lost ground but potentially move into second position depending on how it performs in the five-match ODI series against England which starts at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad Oct 14.

But India will also have an eye on the three-match ODI series between South Africa and Australia, which starts at Centurion from Oct 19.

Pakistan is under threat due to foreign interference in their policies. The propaganda against their armed forces is done by the foreign funded media. Muslims have a history that we are never defeated by enemies but from a blend of our people and our enemies. From the earlier wars of Islam to the war of 1971 traitors have always being the one who have affected the Ummah the most. 
Today Pakistan is on a very critical stage and each move can make history. Sindh and Balochistan is trying to make their own countries. Karachi is under great threat and the peace of the city is worst than ever. In Balochistan, there was always a community who never accepted the existence of Pakistan. They are only few people and Indian intelligence exploited these people and is using them against Pakistan. They formed a terrorist group known as BALOCHISTAN LIBERATION ARMY. They want to make Balochistan an independent state. Now these people are claiming that their people are missing and their claim is that the army and intelligence is responsible. Now if you look at the background of these people. These were from Balochistan liberation army and was working against Pakistan. So should a government stay calm in this situation offcourse not. So the government did take actions against these people. But what they got they really deserved that. I don't find people suppoting armed forces on that. So why were they supporting Army on LAL MASJID issue? In both cases there were groups who were against the government and were using non-political ways to cause destruction in the country. Pakistan has the best Army in the world and its the only institution of the country which has never let the nation down. So have faith in your army. LONG LIVE PAKISTAN ARMY.

After a brilliant domestic season Aizaz cheema was called to Pk cricket team For the tour of Zim which was started from 1st sEptember, he made his Debut by a test match with his Impressive bowling.he got 4 wickets in the 1st innings.His first International wicket was RAymond PriCe.HE was not impressive wd batting and scored 0* from 4 balls.Cheema,s 8/103 is the 2nd best match figures on debut for a pakistani bowler behind M.Zahid,s 11/130 in 1996 Vs newzealand. he made his ODI debut vs zimbabwe in the same series. he took 3/36 in 10 overs with brilliant economy rate of just 3.60 due to which pakistan won the match by a close margin of just 5 runs.he also got an wicket in his 2nd odi of Vussi Sibanda(14 from 35) . he gave 57 runs in 10 overs.In the 3rd ODI he took His Best bowling figure of 4/43 in 10 overs.Pakistan won that match by 28 Runs.Unfortunaltly he was not given man of the match Award Due to Younis,s match winning 81 runs.Cheema,s bowling make it easier to crush over zimbabwe by 3-0 !!!!!
